Lincoln Plastering Services By JB Plastering

With an exemplary attitude to customer support and punctuality, I’m a professional tradesman you can rely on at all times, treating your home with the respect it deserves and fully qualified where it counts.

Dot & Dab Dry Lining

Alternatively known as dot & dab, dry lining is a very popular method to achieve a good finish on walls and is a relatively dry process. It allows me to quickly attach the plasterboard to a variety of different services, including timber, masonry and even metal, although the time for the application to fix does vary according to the material it’s fixed to.

Skimming & Floating

Plaster skimming onto hard alls or plasterboard is the most well known method of providing a hard, smooth surface on which to decorate. Giving many of the advantages of traditional solid plaster walls, when combined with stud wall construction this also opens up many different options for insulation and soundproofing. Before wall skimming commences, I ensure that any loose plasterwork is removed and that joints are reinforced where required.

Coving

If you have uneven seams between your walls and ceiling, or wish to give your premises that extra touch of class, coving installation can provide a timeless sense of elegance. Available in a range of styles, from traditional to contemporary, JB Plastering can help to give your rooms that extra added ‘something’, either as a solo job or as part of my decorating service.

Internal & External Rendering

Rendering is applied to the exterior and interior walls of a building in order to ensure a protective layer against what the typically British elements can throw at them, at the same time adding an extra layer of insulation internally and making your home a more energy efficient one.

The finish can be adapted to blend in with the style of the property in question and is also a cost effective method of covering up dated or worn brickwork.

My work can be tailored to suit most budgets and sizes and I specialise in internal and external rendering for residential premises.
